Masters of Business Administration – MBA is a professional
degree, an essential qualification needed by the core business personality to
improve the performance of his company and place it in the realms of
excellence
There can be a variety of MBA programmes covering various areas
of business such as accounting, applied statistics, business communication,
business ethics, business law, finance, managerial economics, management
entrepreneurship, and marketing. MBA programmes can be full-time, part-time, executive
or even distance learning. It is a two years course. A full-time course
completes in 2 years with 600 class hours. Accelerated MBA course is of 1 year
with more intense class and exam schedule. Part-time MBA has evening or
after-office classes for a duration of 2 years. Modular MBA is similar to a
part-time MBA. Executive MBA is for the managers and executives for 2 years and
if it is full time then the course gets completed in 1 year. Distance learning
MBA is off campus. The correspondence is by postal, email, broad cat video,
pre-recorded video, live teleconference or video conference.
